Capulet & Montague at Showcase 2026
My First Showcase Ireland – What an Experience!
I’m still buzzing as I write this… I finally took part in my very first Showcase Ireland, and honestly it didn’t disappoint one bit.
From the months of preparation, to the early mornings and careful packing, to finally setting up my stand at the RDS Dublin, the whole experience was a whirlwind in the best possible way. Being selected to exhibit in the DCC Ireland Made Local area and to be part of The Edit was such an honour, and something I’m incredibly proud of.
Behind the Scenes: Prep, Set Up & Early Starts
Showcase prep is no small task. There were long days in the studio, final tweaks to designs, stock lists, packaging, and plenty of late nights making sure everything was just right. Set-up day came with very early starts, strong coffees, and that mix of nerves and excitement that only comes with doing something new but once the stand was up, it all felt so worth it.
Meeting Buyers & Fellow Designers
One of the absolute highlights was meeting so many wonderful buyers from across the island of Ireland and even a few from Europe. The feedback and enthusiasm for my work genuinely meant the world to me, and I’m beyond delighted to be leaving Showcase with some amazing new stockists (which I can’t wait to share with you soon!).
Equally special was the camaraderie the laughs, chats and support from my brilliant co-designers. There’s something very special about being surrounded by such talent, creativity and generosity of spirit.
A Huge Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to @roxanne_parker for the most beautiful runway show it was such a joy to be part of. And thank you to everyone who stopped by my stand, shared kind words, and showed such genuine interest in my work. I’m feeling so grateful.
After a wee break in Cork until Monday, I’ll be straight back to the studio, full of inspiration and excitement for what’s ahead ❤️
